SUPERMARKET SALES
A Python Application repeatedly picks a customer at random
and then procedes to fill 'their' virtual shopping
trolley with a random number of items taken from
the Supermarket's Fruit, Veg, Houshold Goods, Dairy,
Bakery and Butchery sections ...
At the virtual 'checkout' a receipt is displayed and all
the information on it is stored in the Supermarket's database.
Meanwhile ... Every ten seconds a PHP application queries
the Supermarket Database and displays sales data pertaining to the
cumulative sales of each item sold on a dashboard in real time.
The Application
Finally... A second Python Application generates 'Discount Vouchers' for all those Customers with more than 100 Points on their Account Card. Discounts are given on the ten products the particular customer buys most often across two price ranges.
